I have an 11 inch Florida Gar that is beginning to get a bit too big and eying my smaller fish as a meal. He has been living in a 150gal for at least 5 months now, I kind of forget when I got him. I REALLY don't want to get rid of him but if I can find the right home for him I will do so. I paid $25.00 for him when he was about 5 6 inches. He eats everything, pellets, freeze dried/frozen shrimp, scavenges the bottom, healthy fish. I really only want him to go to someone advanced with a pond or at least a tank bigger than mine.
Looking to get $50.00 or trades, but as i said the ultimate payment would be knowing he is going to a better/bigger home and will be pampered!!

Would much rather him be picked up, you bring your own bucket/cooler what ever, he is almost a foot long so make sure it is big enough.
Writing this post is actually pretty sad, i love my gar, but he has been holding up the progress of my tank trying to eat anything new that goes in no matter how big. He almost killed a 9 inch tinfoil barb which i got out just in time. He has been living happily with CA cichlids, Oscars, RD, GT, JD etc. He is not aggressive but is a predator.
