Hey all! Been a while since I've been on but I'm back!

So here is my question, I got a nice 90 gal up and running with 1 hujeta gar and 1 peacock eel. The eel hides most of the day in the sand and the gar does what gars do best, patrols the top. I'm looking for something else that 1) Gets along w/ both of them 2) wont be swallowed up by the gar 3) kinda chills mid to lower level of the aquarium.

Any suggestions?

You could try finding a Channa that stays small because they´re mid to lower area fish. I would advise Channa Bleheri that they won´t get big enough to be able to harm the other fish

Plenty in Florida from what I've heard...illegal of course...but plentiful ;)

As per your question - Depends what type of fish you want? Their are plenty of cichlids that fit the bill, maybe a school of silver dollars...Depends on what you like.

Lmao no snakeheads and not really a big fan of the silver dollars. What type of cichlids would y'all recommend? I do like Jaguar idea though.
