All my tanks have bare bottom because I don't want any substrate it's more efficient for me this way but is there anyone who can help me with just a little aquascaping with a bare bottom tank? If there are pictures of your bare bottom tank I would really appreciate it. I only have driftwoods there and some fake plants and it looks a little lacking of design or something.

I use a few slate rocks, some driftwood and scattered river rocks. Not the best looking but better than being completely bare and stays just as clean

Along with driftwood and plastic plants, I also threw in a bunch of large and small rocks. You can check out the link at the bottom of my post. There's a full tank shot around the 9th page or so

bare bottom tanks are always going to look lacking IMO just doesn't look natural. If you want something easy to clean but looks a little nicer I would do natural colored tiling on the bottom.

Personally, I've yet to see a tiled tank that I like or looks natural to me. It took me a little while to get use to the bare tank look, but now I don't really mind it all. Of course, sand is still my favorite substrate and what I use for tanks in living spaces

I agree I just think it looks nicer than bare. I use sand as well.
