Breeding behavior?

I've tried doing some research but can't find a whole lot on what I'm trying to look for. Is there a certain age when they start to pair up? And is there any rituals besides the obvious of the female laying eggs? I have 2 silver aros that are about 8 inches but every now and then they go close to the bottom and spin around in a circle almost. They also swim with each other sometimes but that could just be any reason I suppose. Never any aggression though one of them occasionally nips at the others tail but nothing hurtful. Any help would be appreciated!

At that young age I recon it is a show of dominance more than anything IMO.
That said, my aros are breeding in my pond without touching the age of 4yrs of maturity. So anything is possible :)
