The other day I added an air disc in my side filter for my K1 media and a lot of air bubbles were pumped into the main tank resulting in really tiny bubbles in the whole tank..
I read on the Internet that oxygen is dissolved in water through surface agitation but in my case, I can barely see the surface moving although the tank is literally full of tiny bubbles..
Is this ok for fish or do I need to add an air stone?

Another question would be is it necessary to aerate ceramic rings(in my case it's sintered glass) that are submerged at the bottom of the filter?
