VATF cloudy eye need help

next to my tank's
need help with my 3 " VATF i buy it on Thursday and I did not realize that one eye had a speck of blood the next fryday star to be cloudy and i star reading on google and the most I could find was that i need to turn up the temperature and add salt but it is not working and is getting more cloudy so what can i do water parameters are nitrate 20

Hardness 75
Clorine 0
Alkalinity 180

Its the nitrite, if your reading any at all that's an issue, get something that neutralizes it like seachem prime and keep the water super clean at least

are you sure he hasnt just bumped it? if so it should heal by itself... maybe add some salt 1 tsp per gallon gradually over a few days.

I just did wc yesterday and i use seachem prime and i forget to mention i add some of pimafix to so you tink it can recover or it will gona lost the eye

ive had plenty of fish knock their eye and heal fine... just keep the water perfect and add salt imo.
