Do you literally just put the plant (minus soil, I presume) into the spot on a HOB filter where the media would normally be? And just run the filter like you normally would? I'm setting up the biggest tank I've ever had (a 120) and want to put a plant in it (in the HOB filter, not actually in the tank). I'm just not quite clear on exactly how to do it. I have a Peace Lily just waiting for it! Thanks!

I have Pothos cuttings I just tossed on top of the sponge in 1 of my filters. Plants don't mind at all, and are thriving. I have also tied the root balls up in nylons with gravel in it as well.
