I've got an AC110 that has started leaking from the base of the power cord. Anybody had any luck sealing this spot?

I've had the housing of an AC110 crack & I tried unsuccessfully to seal that. I'm hoping this spot works better...

I haven't looked at any of mine in a while but I believe the cord location is such that if waer is leaking from it than water is getting into parts of the motor assembly that shouldn't have water. I'd replace th assembly.

o-ring be the way to go, in the mean time can use Vaseline or vegetable oil to lube the ring. when you get a chance should get a some food grade silicone o-ring lube, should use that every time you open your canisters for cleaning on the o-rings, any good hardware store have it, its cheep.

find it hard to see the impeller chamber developing a hole in it. its a mag pump system and has no opening to the motor to leak into it.
