Hello. Need some opinions on my setup. I just built my own sump for the first time and would like some input.

I have a 150g single corner overflow tank. Anyways. Heres a pic of my 40g sump.

First section: filter sock, 2 heaters, two sponge filters, kio pond bio media tube (dont know the name) and at last, FULLY SUBMERGED bioballs.

Second section: matrix, body scrubbies, bio home and ceramic rings and a layer of coarse filter

Third section: pump and crush corals.

My tank was fully cycled right before i dump the bioballs in. I know they work at best when its wet/dry elevated up but i dont have space so therefore its fully submerged! I didnt wanna put sponge filter in the tank as it looks ugly.

I was thinking putting k1 in the first section but its small and would get trap between baffle or go to the next section

Any input or suggestions?

My future stock would be a 12" ST. 1 Sting ray and a few ditchers. ill throw in some baby clown loach growouts in the sump
