Hey guys..

Just thought I'd send a little update on my group of Thorichthys Helleri I was given earlier this year.... The biggest ones are just over 2" in body length now... Hoping to sex them off soon into pairs. Here's a few nice pics.

Looking good! I'm seeing lots of blue spangles on the body & the cheek spot is starting to color up. Should be stunners!

I'm glad to see more of the lesser known thorithys showing up...the family has way more to offer than just firemouths.

They are similiar in appearance to Thorichthys ellioti but far less aggressive. These are the most mild manner cichlids I kept to date. The most they do is just bump eachother gently if they what one another out of their territory.
