So.... I know dats grow slow, but...

If a dat has- clean water, lots of space (1000g) and pounds massivore daily, what can an ITs max growth rate be?

That's going to vary on the age of the fish. A lot get slowed down when young due to trying to break off live but if small say one inch you can get the most growth out of them in the first 5years I'd say.... Possible for a 1incher to reach 18 in that time frame being power fed... A buddy of mine was able to do it in less than that but he was doing crazy water changes and feeding heavy all the time.

With pounds of massivore a day, it will die from pollution.

I think it depends on the size of the dat right now, a baby dat in a 1000g wont thrive as it will just try to hide and not move all day.

Thanks man.

Excuse my lingo, I meant, "smashes" massivore. Or better yet, he eats a lot of massivore.

I think it depends on the size of the dat right now, a baby dat in a 1000g wont thrive as it will just try to hide and not move all day.
But in my original post, I say he eats a lot of massivore, how wont it thrive in a 1000gl and eat lots of massivore. Watch my vid in the media section, youll see, hes not hiding. Hes about 9-10"

I did say "depends on what size" I had a small tank with baby dats 0.5"-1" that pounded massivores everyday like no tomorrow, if I threw them in a 1000g doesn't mean they will grow really fast but more of the opposite hence why I ask "what size".
