Depends on the area. In Bangkok Tropical and Cuban gars go for $150, Floridas for $2-$3, same with Alligator gars.

I bought three Tropical gars for $150 a piece.

also too depends on the type of gar the more rarer ones usually end up costing more esp with the cubans and tropicals in the u.s. cuban gars are still hard to get over here.
and the color morphs like the platinum gator or even the axanthics can get into the several thousand dollar range. florida gars are the most common ones in pet stores.
