Impressive fish. I like your set up for them. Right now, I'm keeping Astatheros altifrons and Astatheros robertsoni 'Jutiapa'. I'd love to get a hold of some 'nourissati' and 'rostratum'.

I've kept robertsoni in the past. I've always wanted to try out the altifrons. I'll probably give them a shot when i'm more stable(military) I currently have 5 F0 Alfari Rio Segundo in there with the nourisatti. Also keeping a trio of F0 Rostratus Rio Matagalpa in another tank.

The Alfari seem to not share the same behavior as the others. I rarely ever see them "sifting"

Amazing pair and hope they spawn soon. This is a sp. that is on my wish list. I currently have a. robertsoni and a. rostratus together in a 150g. I had an a. altifrons, but my rostratus killed it.

Speaking of Astatheros sp.-did anyone see Jeff has a. diquis in his Costa Rican thread in the vendor market place section? They are extremely rare.
