Hey, hope everyone is well.

So, I wanted to upgrade pumps and I was considering these pumps -

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007DXH4CO/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_W30Jtb0DMPZS9

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00915LJEG/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_740Jtb04NX5EK

So, a couple of questions -
Firstly, I assume these pumps will not be quiet due to the fact that they are pond pumps?

Also, the second link shows a pump that is supposedly a "dual inlet" I assume it is in fact duel inlet (in my case, outlet)?

Do they last long? I've received mixed reports.

Any other recommended pumps that are relatively low wattage with high output and are quiet?

Thanks and sorry for the tonne of questions!

:)

It looks about the same as the Laguna Max Flo pond pumps. I use two and really like them. I don't think you will have a noise problem with any submersible pump. I took the Laguna out of the cage and made an intake pipe of PVC. My media was being sucked in.

Thanks dude! I currently have an oceanrunner 6000 and it doesn't do it flow wise and it makes a racket (submerged as well! )
