I'm looking to upgrade my 150g with canister filters. I'm currently running two Emperor 400s. My plan was to buy two magnum 350s but wondering if there are better ones any suggestions?

if you add an eheim 2217 to what you have now that might do it... rena xpl is another good choice ...

Eheim classics are the most reliable out there. Look up reviews on any classic and you will find they are some of the most recommended out there. Very simple design that has been proven through MANY (30+) years.

I've never had an eheim, I've had a fluval 406 , I liked it but only good for maybe a 75g.now I have an fx5 , really like this filter, my only complaint about it is the cheaply made lock down knobbs . replacing 3 of them right now.only sold individually. No bulk packs.$6+ each is the cheapest I could find them.

I LIKED MY FLUVAL ..BUT,,,the the latches break pretty easy...the eheims seem to be designed much better, I would venture to say that pretty much anybody that has had a fluval has broken a latch (if they've had it for a few years)

Eheim classics are a pain to clean. Eheim should design media baskets for this filter and it would be by fat the best canister in the market.
