Ok so i have a palmas palmas that was outside for a few days and now its just dry skin and bones, i want to get all the skin off though so what can i do to do it? Ive heard of boiling but would that apply to a already dried fish? Would solution of vinegar do it, and then just take it out and peel of the skin?

Theres some ants picking out the rest right now, but theres still all the scales left and theres breaks in it from where they entered so i dont want to keep it just like that, i mostly just want the skull but full body would be awesome.

Just leave it out in the sun and rinse it off with a hose one a week? Haha

Well its a very small bichir compared to lower jaw species so now that there no flesh its just a dry delicate fish with skin and bones, some im afraid to really touch it until i know what i doing, so would vinegar soften up all the scales and make it so it can be peeled off?

Anyone got any ideas? Could i just cut off the head and bleach it? Maybe boil the whole body and see if i can get the scales off? Or would vinegar do that?
