Guys I was just going to order the 2262 but checked out the power consumption and total costs with all the media and thought maybe I could use my existing 2217 and ac110 and just pick up another 2217 and save allot of money. I was going to add the ac110 regardless so it would be 2 2217's and an ac110 on a 150 gal with one oscar , a yellow acara , asain bb cat and maybe some cl's or another small cichlid. Would that be sufficient ?

Also how many current satellite leds would I order tank is 72 inches so I was thinking I would need two 36 inch strips

Yes....one 2217 and 2 ac 110s will be plenty also.....I dig over filtration but it is taken to the extreme here way too often IMO, I have never seen so many people gleefully brag about wasting money and electricity....I have a 5 ft 90 gallon tank that is filtered by 2 ac 70s and a sponge filter...its always got good params.....water changes are Way more important for healthy fish

I use a single 48-60" Current USA LED + on all my 125s. Like the corners a bit darker than the middle. I think it is bright enough for my taste, in fact I tend to dial down the brightness level 90% of the time.

Lp I was go with 2 2217's and 1 ac110 setting up the ac for mech. Electric in my area is ridiculous man. You mentioned 2ac's and 1 2217 is that a better option ?

lower cost , both initial & electric, and it will be plenty... think about ....it the 2 ac110's will easily filter a 100 gal tank
and the 2217 will easily filter nearly as much as the 2 ac's...you have 1 of each now, if you really want to save (a good trait imo) add a sponge filter (run on a 2-6 watt air pump )and a powerhead to increase current....the 2 filters you have should cover you while the sponge filter gets established(if you worry about looks drop it behind a big rock or plant) if you add a powerhead try & get 10x turnover TOTAL(FILTERS INCLUDED)....
