Yes, that is one way to look at it. :) But it sadly also means that most people will carry on believing that castexi is a species. And it simply is not.

Same thing applies to P. reticulatus (etc).

The Falks imported from Argentina are what the Sao felix leos are to the common leopoldi. :) That is how I like to look at it. :)

But no, the pictured fish is not an "Estrella" falkneri from peru. :)


Here is a hint: It was caught in brazil. :)
