Does anybody have Kraussi or heard of them? I came across one awhile ago and on 4 unsuccessful attempts to purchase it, I finally was able to get it. She is about 12" and 3 years old. I'd like to find a male and breed them

Where are you located in Canada? I'm in Winnipeg and have some younger kraussi (5-7"). Just took a couple of 12" males in to a local wholesaler, but unfortunately he no longer has them. I shipped quite a few to a Toronto fish store last year. I can check to find out the name of it.

looks like the one I had to give up because my big jag (6 years old) and it were fighting too bad . If it is I purchased it Wild caught from Spencer Jack and he still has Kraussi's from time to time.

Here is a picture of the fish in question. If so make sure you feed the little guy lots of earthworms ! Favorite treat !

Dude! It is totally the same fish. I got it from petland in Regina. They were not selling, then asking too much and then sold it twice and it was brought back. I have it in a 125 gallon with a blood parrot, electric blue jack Dempsey and some other smaller guys. Will do on the earthworms 😉
