i caught my male pearl in the act

I was sat eating my tea last night around 7pm all was calm in the tank and then suddenly my male pearl started harassing my female marble and then wham he nailed her got his tackle straight in there I could not believe it because the male marble I have has been trying for the last couple of weeks and she has kept rejecting him. Now the waiting game begins to she if she goes full term and actually has pups I have marked it down on the calendar and I guess 8 weeks from now I should know.
