Shallow aquarium question

Just wondering if anyone has any shallow aquariums like 12" i was thinking of building a 4'x4'x12" square tank also what thickness of acrylic or glass should i use? Thanks

I have had shallow tanks but they were very small tanks. What do you want to keep? And glass thickness is based on height of the tank so you could get away with some pretty thin stuff at only 12" deep

I was mostly wanting to build it because I think it would look cool I would put some smaller sized active catfish in it like pictus or something. What thickness do you think I can get away with?

Glass calculator I googled said up to 15" tall you can do 6mm glass which is very thin. Another one said 1/4 inch. Either way its likely going to be the thinnest stuff a supplier carries will be fine if you stay 12" or less
