whoa, never seen one of those before. But it really does look like a piece of driftwood. What region are these guys native to?

Yep brazil I think need to do a planet catfish search on him really , I dint think these get too big around 8/10" mark I've been told , I've got a black driftwood cat that's maxed out at around 12" and very chunky but the regular driftwoods mouths are much smaller in scale to the blacks
