Hu just picked up a nice 180g with an fx5 and a load of fish.
12" oscar
14" plec
12" tinfoil barb
8" femal jd
6" albino convict
6" jewel cichlid
6" catfish
12" silver shark
2 4" spotted metanis
4" blue acara

I'm adding my shoal of 20 clown loach so obviously some have to go, which would you keep?
I also have the chance to pick up a wild proven pair of hoplarchus psitacus so would need to make alot of room if I wished to house these.
I'll be running my eheim 2260 alongside the fx5

Id get rid of the aggressive cichlids that would bully your loaches. The acara is prob fine and true parrots would be ok but I wouldnt keep oscars jd and convicts n such. Also what type of catfish?

6" could be a large pictus. They are relatively peaceful and wont bother anything. The best part of clown loaches is their silly behavior, but im afraid if you keep aggressive cichlids with them you wont see any loaches because they will all be hiding

Thats allot of tough guys man hope it works out. The bottom of your tank may end up being really crowded.

Still early days but all seems calm so far. Do you think 50% weekly water changes will be sufficient?
