how to background

so i have my 220 set up and its been set up for awhile now, i was wondering how to get my black background on the tank, the back is like a 6-10 inch gap...

You can secure it to foam or cardboard then use velcro

A paint roller would get it done ;) Just make sure to throw a piece of painter's plastic up with blue tape against the wall behind the tank before painting (just in case).

Hard board like cardboard and foam core will work as well, you should be able to get fairly large pieces of it at an art store and cut it down to size. Slipping one or two pieces back there with some strategically placed tape should be do-able with the space you have.
