Considering buying a glass tank thats listed at 400gallons for an AMAZING price on craigslist. Out of state but dont mind the drive, tank is currently up and running. Besides my wife the problem is I won't be able to set it up til next spring due to me moving in the next couple months. My parents own a house with a basement and garage. My question is what's the best way to keep an empty tank "healthy" for almost a year. The basement most likely will not be available so should I put the tank in the garage fill it with water til next spring and if so what happens in the very cold winter months or just leave the tank empty and if so what about the seals?
