Hey guys, in a bit of a dilemna.

I have a 4x2x2 tank that houses a footlong silver aro and a 6 or 7 inch giant gourami.

I love these guys but I'm not sure if I want to just keep these 2 fish in this tank forever, or when I upgrade to a 6x2x2 or larger for the arowana when he gets full sized.
I only have space for a couple of tanks and I constantly see other fish I want to keep!

Problem is, the giant gourami is a massive jerk and won't tolerate anything other than the arowana.

What would you do? Donate the RTGG and get more peaceful stock? Find compatible RTGG fish?

Gahhh.

hate to bust your bubble but you should not be planning to keep either fish long term in a 4x2x2, both your fish will require a tank at least 8x3x3 in my opinion as the smallest option, ideally something bigger in my books.

You may also find with a bigger tank the RTGG calms down a lot as he will have some free space.
