Any one keep Shellie's?

Do you keep shell dweller cichlids? I want to get a few would a 10 gallon work? Or should I look into a 20? I want a breeding colony give me advice

Some shell dwellers will work out in a 10 gallon tank if properly set up, Multifaciatus are the easiest and best suited for a 10 gallon tank. Brevis and similis can also be housed in a 10.

If you want a colony a 20 long will work great. A 10 can be used. But you can run out of space once they start breeding.

With good maintenance, you can do a small group in a 10G, but a 20G is recommended.
