What filter should I buy next? 75 Gallon Community tank.

I currently have a 75 gallon community tank that well stocked with. Tetras, Dwarf Gouramis, Platys, Guppies, Cory Catfish etc.
For filtration I have an Eheim 2215 rated at 164 gph which I'm aware is not enough filtration for that tank. I'm shopping for a new filter to add to the tank. What would be a good option? I'm torn between the Aquaclear 70 ($40) and the Aquaclear 110 ($80). Would the Aquaclear 70 be enough? I'm thinking of using the AC70 for mostly Mechanical filtration and the Eheim for mostly Biological filtration since the 70 moves more water. I know this forum is for Monster Fish Keepers (I also own a cichlid tank) but I really need the help.

Sounds like AC110 is the choice. How do you think it compares to a Eheim 2213. Of course it moves more water but I'm wondering if The Eheim 2213 + 2217 would be a good enough alternative. The 2213 is about the same price as the AC110 minus the noise.

My AC110's are quiet except when the lid rattles. Personally I prefer my AC110 over my canister. They just seem easier to clean.

Why does the lid rattle? Is there a way to stop the rattling?
