Hello- I'm a researcher at the Natural History Museum, London, and I'm interested in the evolution of bone repair (http://rsbl.royalsocietypublishing.org/content/9/5/20130144.long). Although we previously studied repair in fossil jawless fish, we're interested in expanding our study to bony fishes, particularly bichir, but also gar, paddlefish, etc.

If you have any skull bones or scales that show evidence of damage and repair (or know of anyone who does), it would be great to hear from you: z.johanson@nhm.ac.uk

Best wishes, Zerina Johanson
