hey, finally got some meth blue, and it says I can give bath. My GT has swim bladder problems. for the past week and a half i have been doing fish mox and epson salt. He has voided his bowls a few times so not bloat. he swims fine when I go near him but then he cant hold his balance and lays on side in an arch. I gave a meth bath. it said do for 10 seconds. I did. how many times a day can I do it and do i discard the bath each time or can I use it, I dipped him in 5 gal bucket. I feel it is being wasted per 10 sec bath

I may be wrong, but i never heard of methylene in conjunction with swimm bladder problems.

In any case, do not repeat the same batch and, allways, aerate well.

then I must be wrong. For me it was a fungus treatment, Meth blue.

Anyway. substitute the meth in all treatments and aerate.

To use Methylene Blue as a bath for swim bladder disorders fill a five gallon bucket with aquarium water add 1 teaspoon of Meth Blue, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of Epsom salt, bath the fish for 20 to 30 mins twice a day. Discard water after each bath.
