Hi, anyone here experienced your dats have a swimming problem? I am not sure if its a problem though he is eating and active it seems odd. He always want to stay at the bottom of the tank i mean like a bichir. He's swimming pattern is not smooth he wags the tail like a dog. Thanks

I will try to take a vid. But if you can imagine its like a fish battling for a very strong current. Which is I don't have that current in my tank. He's been like that for 2 weeks. I thought it was bloat but the day I noticed it. it has been 5 days of no feeding so bloat is not the case. IMO

Are you sure it's not trying to hide against the bottom of the tank or a object? They will even lay almost on their sides sometime just trying to hide and the whole time it's fins will be moving.

Nope. Ive been a tiger keeper for almost 5 years now and this is the first time I saw this odd swimming pattern. Also to add my tiger is mostly stable 24/7 even he just stays at the bottom like a bichir.
