Anyone else on here keeping Ompok bimaculatus? It'd be cool to see some pictures I've had a pair for almost three years but theyre still on the small side.

I don't but I'd love to keep Ompoks eventually. Let's see some pictures :)

Don't I feel dumb that's what they are O.Siluroides I've put them on the back burner for a little while when I was keeping Natives. Currently my lights broken so here's an older picture of them right after some feeder guppies

Sent from my iPhone using MonsterAquariaNetwork app
actually those are O.pabda the only reason suggested O.Siluroides is because O.siluroides is the most common specie mixed up with O.bimaculatus

At this angle it is hard for me to say. Here is my little pabda, a very slow grower too: http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=39081&hilit=+pabda

Yes PCF says 9.4" SL (~12" TL) and FishBase says 12" http://www.fishbase.org/summary/Ompok-pabda.html - but I thought for sure I saw someone showing ~18" pabdas at a market place in SE Asia. I cannot remember who and where.

You saw and we discussed my other Ompoks on PCF http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=30937&hilit=+ompok

Ahhh yes I remember now you gave me some excellent advice and information. I will say your pabda and mine look exactly alike. The only difference with mine are they constantly are that molted Wels looking color not the more silvery. Just curious to how much yours has grown since you got it. Mine were around 2.5-3" and are now about 4.5" and I think this past week marks having them for 2 years.

Cannot tell. I got it at around 4" ~ a year ago. I've seen it only a few fleeting times in a 1500 gal pond. I hope to find it when I pump down the pond and place all into tanks in some months...
