I've never really used the chemipure elite, pura complete, purigen, etc. but I would like to give it a try. My water always looks good but I want to see how much better it COULD be. I plan on adding some to my 450g and want to make a reactor for it to maximize efficiency. I thought of just using a 2L plastic bottle and attaching a spare maxijet 1200 I have laying around to the threaded section of the bottle, and then drilling some holes in the bottom of the 2L. This whole contraption would be placed in my sump and out of sight. The media would be in bags to prevent it from blowing all over my sump, and the bottle would be jam packed full of the media.
Does anyone else have a better idea? I'm sure lots of you use this stuff!
