here is a video of my suncat from a few months back, never posted this one up... just wanted to give the suncat some cred, when small they often hide away but become right characters as they grow and put on good size eventually!-) the tiles on the bottom are 12 inches across for reference.

I keep being surprised at your sun cat, how much it swims in the open. Seems like you have made it exceptionally comfortable somehow. I have about 10 of them in a 1500 gal and almost never see them, granted it is a pond, not a tank.

Big midas> sun cat> smaller midas. Pretty impressed and surprised by this

He is in with alot more fish now, tank is pretty heavily stocked now inc 2 more 12 inch midas males an oscar and a 10 inch gg... of course the 18 inch wyckii that is actually in there on this particular video in his cave. ... like I say he is a hoodlum lol! he actually chases some of the 12inch midas males too! Him and rocky the big midas in the video have lived together for years and the suncat shadows him like a sidekick. while rocky runs the tank he is happy, the butti is having the odd spat of power lately which may end with him being rehomed as he can be an arse at times. The wyckii is happy as larry unless they get to close to his current bogwood hide.

Very good looking catfish, not to mention the others.
Question, what do you have on the bottom of your tank?
