I'm new to this forum,and just learning about rays.Although new to rays, I have good experience with ornamental fishes, both fw and marine fishes.
Actually,I have intention to comercial breed those fishes.
I'm from Brazil and, as far as I know, there's no ray breeders around.Virtually all available stingrays here are wild caught.
I'd like to work with black rays(henlei and leos).
So, with that in mind, I'd like to know, what should be an acceptable breeding tank size for a breeding pair of those? I know the bigger the better but, thinking about a breeding facility, is there an average tank size?
As a comercial breeding purpose, one concern is about production. As long as rays only produce a few number of pups every 3 monthes,I guess I have to keep several breeding pairs in order to get a considerable number of pups available, am I right?
Any help would be very important!
