Guys/gals im going to add a few more clowns to the new tank. Going to go with 3 to 4 inches in size. I was thinking or quarantining them. Should I treat for internal parasites with something like tetra parasite gaurd ? If they are large and eating and not showing any signs of ick or the skinny disease (internal parasites) is there even a need ?

I wouldn't bother unless they look sick..if they look thick & healthy, why medicate..imo more people kill their thick healthy loaches, than save them with needlessly medicating them..To me, it's only needed for apparant skinny disease. If a loach looks sick, I don't buy him..I don't believe i've ever lost a loach through internal parasites in many years of raising them from tiny sizes

Everytime I buy clown loaches they get ich. Always. I'd personally half dose, on introducing them.
