I'm having me new tank delivered 2 weeks on Saturday. I'm using my current 75 gal sump and adding a 100 ltr water but that's going to be for the k1.
My question is at the moment I can't connect the water butt to my current tank, so when I do a water change can I put the old tank water in the water but and get it circulating to start the cycle or would that not work?
thanks

You need to add an ammonia source to start cycling (continuous source) and keep it highly aerated and agitated to maximize the media's potential.
