So my girlfriend wanted a planted tank. I gave her my 40 now mind you she has never had any of fish or tanks before. I think she did really well with very little help and im showing off.

some of those plants aren't actual aquatic plants and will just melt and cause water quality issues...specifically the one with white leafs but I can't see the other plants very well to tell what they are.

also I can tell she doesn't have a strong enough light for even low light plants as its not reaching the full length of the tank. she's going to not have the best of times with this setup as it is, may want to think about upgrading some of the hardware.
