What kind of minnow is this? I found it while clearing duckweed out of my 150 gallon pond. Pond is has a 1' deep shelf 18" all around, then a 2' deep part in the center about 20" wide. There is a frog and a couple tadpoles, as well as a resident sunfish. Haven't gotten around to stocking it so most of these fish just appeared.

Hmm looks like a guppy or some other kind of livebearer.

Thanks guys. Do you think she is pregnant?
Looks like it. When catching female misquitofish, you will tend to notice they are more often pregnant than not.

Its rare to find a nonpregnant female mosquito fish in the wild. But in cold regions, you will tend find more "open" females since the males do not handle the cold temperatures very well and the females used up all sperm they stored before the winter hits.
