Okay... Hi guys, i'm new on here :) and I am interested in breeding a type of fish as a hobby. Anyone know any fish that come in lots of variations/colours?:screwy:

Betta? Fancy guppies? Flowerhorn? Those are 3 that come to mind as bright breedable fish but most fish have been bred in captivity some more difficult than others

tank size you looking at and type fish you looking to breed? and do you have a grow out tank?

tank size, I could go anywhere to 125 gallons. Shrimp would be nice too.

lots a choices with a 125. for me it be JD, i already breed those now, but Africans also an option, leave for some folks with more experience than me in it, I just breed Jags and JD.

you will need a grow out tank, say a 30g, parents will eat the fry after 6 weeks or so. will also need a fish in that tank all the time to hold cycle.
