Assuming this would even work in the short term, I'd assume conditions are nowhere near optimal for any of the fish in there, save maybe the brackish. Assuming of course.

Many fish can be adapted to live in fresh or salt for short periods of time most do not live long.

Probably just wanted to see if he could do it and didn't think if he should do it. He will probably tell everyone he did it and it is possible and one by one they will die off. But of course that part wont be posted on youtube.

wasn't there a product called magic water or something in asia? it allows you to keep freshwater and marine fish together. i think it is based on sugars instead of salt. but i am not sure. there were threads on that 2 years ago on this site
