So I have read that there is a direct relation between how the color and shine of your arowana is affected by the color of the tank.
Eg. Red arowana should go with black/blue color and Gold should go with white bg color during juvenile period to push up the shine (and transfer to black tank at adult).
My question - is it necessary to paste the sides of the tank as well? What are it's pros and cons?
In my opinion (pure logic, no experiment):
PROs
- More oyama pasted equates to faster/more efficient effect on the arowana. (3 sides beat 1 side right? ).
- Makes tank whiter/darker in terms of lighting and visibility
CONs
- makes your tank looks like a box.. you can only view the arowana from the front
- makes any algae in the tank really obvious
Thoughts? Pls share below!
