Thinking it's a xinyue but not sure pics dont show true colors though. He's a lot more yellow. You know how bass are they switch on there moods lol. Let me know what you guys think thanks.

What's your water change schedule and tank size? Also what's the tank temp? Those factors have a role in moods, which dictate color changes.

82 degrees. Twice a week about 60-70% WC. 180gal. He was like that color in the fish store. They said he wasn't taken care of too good. He also has a skin issue on his face. But it's clearing up good with my WCs.. he eats massivore like a beast though.
