New tank, 54 length, 14 width, 16 height (inches), 52 gallons.

Stock of two blood parrots, question is, would anyone recommend silver dollars for those dimensions? I like SD's....but they used to freak out something awful in shorter tanks I had, figured something of this length is probably slightly more suitable.

I would think yes thet could but no more than three and u should give them lots of cover so they dont freak out as often they are a very finicky fish.

Sometimes I think my 120 is too small for my 5 spotted silver dollars that are barely 5" each.

Idk guys, I got a school of five in my 75 all about 4-5 inch and lots of tank mates. The tank is over stocked but some of the fish are just growing out. But they are very happy and barely freak out. I think he would be ok, IMHO
