Will a salt treatment hurt a pothos plant?
pothos is just stuck in the tank through the hood with roots bare to the tank.

I've neen treating a tank for ick for a few days now.
the banna plant and sword are taking the heat , salt, and jungle ick tx fine was just wondering if the pothos will fair as well.

I gave the final jungle ick tx today and will keep the heat ( 90 F ) and salt going along with the 2x water changes going for another 8 days.

I'm changing 5 gal at a time 2x a day. in a 29 gal tank and retreating with salt every change.

So far everything looks good.

SO will the pothos be affected in a negative way?

Everything I find says to aclimate them slowly to salt.
This wasn't the case.

Original reply to someone else asking about salt if you need the full story.

I have some pothos, peace lily hanging on my 10 gallon quarantine's filters and there hasn't been any problems for a few days after I introduced aquarium salt. I have the salt at double concentration at 1 T. per 5 gallons. So I'm using 4 T. I still have to wait and see though if things pan out nicely. I'll keep you updated.

Thanks
So far everything is alive and I'm on day 10 of the tx I posted above.
2 more days and I'll pull the heater and go back to room temp until winter hits.

I've seen no sign of ick return and all the fish are doing GREAT! So are the plants.

Banana plant did slow down on the growth though.
Other then that everyone and thing in the tank is well.
