An Australian Albino-Headed crocodile kills a fisherman and is euthanized by wildlife officials.
Reports out of Australia say a man was grabbed by an albino-headed crocodile in the Adelaide River, just east of the city of Darwin. The 57-year old man was killed in front of his wife after entering the river to fix a snagged fishing line.
The one in a million reptile known as Michael Jackson by crocodile tour guides on the Adelaide had been a frequent spotlight in Jumping Croc Tours, which operates just across the river from where the man was taken.
Wildlife officials stalked the area late Monday night, and were able to recover the mans body as well as kill the rare 14.7-foot croc.
