I think I have a record fish on my hands. thoughts?

he looks to be 6-7 inch, since most Goldfish are measured by body lenght. nice goldfish, nonetheless.

I'll never understand that. Why body length? As a fisherman, i measure from tip of tail to tip of mouth.

Bruce, the aforementioned record Oranda cannot be his claimed size if its strictly body length.
 
I looked into this with the two goldfish I caught, both over 5lbs.
Yeah, but i'm referring to largest Oranda specifically, and more specifically, one kept in an aquarium exclusively.

Yea, I think the record could be for both. Can't remember for sure thou. I had another, no pics, the same size in my tank before I got on here for about a month, was neat seeing a goldfish that big and it was a fantail.
