New corner tank, 92 US gallons, see pics below.

I have 2 Blood parrots, and one convict, all juvenile.

Looking for your thoughts on design, filtrations, background, and accompanying stock.

My own ideas were some sort of canister, maybe a fluval 405? Then a shoal of something smallish but not too small to get eaten. Thinking of getting black background, no idea on substrate, I have black sand just now, but I welcome your thoughts.

Help me bounce some ideas around guys :)

P.S attached pics are examples of the type of tank but set-up by others

If you go with the Fluval FX5 and put the inlet and the outlet in the back corner(bottom of the diamond) togeather. Then use the dual directional outlet that comes with the FX5 you will get great flow, currnet and circulation and it should eliminate most of the dead zones.

Will get BP photos shortly :)

In terms of the FX5, it looks fantastic, I am rather skint though, and wondered if the 405 would do the same job?

If not I'll just save for longer and get the FX5

The tank in the pic has an overflow...I'd go with a sump for sure...I have a 54 gallon corner tank and the aqueon proflex model 1 fits underneath perfectly.
