As per the tittle im moving right now snd I have to move several tanks but only three out of six are stocked.

How to help so your BB in your filter wont die off?

Best way to bag fish (What to put in the same bucket)

And any other little helpful pieces of advice.

how far are you moving ?

Is it possible to set up 1 of the empty tanks in advance so you can move some fish in there, then attach all your filters into this temporary tank ?

When I moved (about 40 miles away) I just got 5 gallon buckets pulled all the media out of the filters, split them between the buckets drained the tank (90 gallon) and set it up at the new house. It was the first thing moved. I also did a very good clean of the tank and gravel when I set it back up. I had no problems and lost no fish. I also moved in January. So it was very cold. At least here in PA.
