I know there are way too many questions about pumps and there are probably even more options about them...

However I'm looking to replace my noisy pump and I'm thinking about getting the Quiet One 4000 or 5000 but i see some places have a Pro version but can't quite figure out what the difference is? I swear some site sell previous models while others sell the current one and it's so hard to compare apples to apples.

Any body know the difference?

I've had the 4000 and it sucks IMO, no where near quiet, its bulky given the flow rate and they use plastic shafts which will eventually break.
Lifeguard only makes one line of pumps so whether it is labeled as pro or not they are the same.

The DC pumps from Jebao and Waveline are much more recommended.
The Jebao DC6000 is a little more money then the lifeguard aquatics pumps but they offer more versatility, less power consumption, a lot less noise, and little to no heat transfer.

I even like my OG Danner Magdrive 5 better then the quiet one 4000.
